New Creations

As most of you know, I love being silly. When I find an awesome picture that is just ridiculous I immediately feel an urge to pounce on it with a funny caption. This quirkiness in me came straight from my daddy. He used to write his own take on newspaper articles. We would pick up the paper and find the funniest thought bubbles over a photo.  Below are a couple of my Valentine Card inspirations!

I could not pass up this cute pair of lace baby shoes at the thrift store the other day.

Here's what I did to them.

Adorable little baby queen in a nest of moss and shredded paper. Shoe was stained to look aged.

I did the same with this shoe. That little darling is my very own princess.

I purchased a vintage world atlas a while back and have literally used every page of it. 

My final creation was this beautiful paper wreath wall hanging.
I love the all the soft colors on these pages!

How do you like the Traveling Queen? The photo is of my aunt taken a very long time ago as she is to date 95 years old. She gave me permission to use this photo of her.
I think it makes a perfect center for this wreath.

I have this on my dining table for the time being.
Those are my Valentine roses from my hubby.

I love taking lamp shades and removing the sides.

A Happy Customer

 A customer of mine, Viktoria purchased several flower pins from me

 and attached them to her burlap lampshade. Isn't adorable? What a great idea!

 She also bought this hanging heart pillow from me.
This was one of my favorites.

Sometimes the pillow got turned around and she didn't like the blank side
 so she attached one of the flower pins to the back. 

Another great idea!
